Debra lives in Mid-Canterbury with her Russian Blue 20-year-old cat Arna and enjoys meeting up with friends for outings. Outside of the office Debra likes to go for long walks which include power walking plus walking half marathons when time permits and enjoys cycling to help keep fit. Other interests include getting out into the garden and learning how to grow vegetables and flowers plus keep a lawn green to create a homely outdoors environment.
From personal experience Debra acknowledges that Chiropractic made a difference for her when she was having health challenges that took time and patience to get results. Once her health was back on track, she then made the commitment to train as a Chiropractor.
Debra completed her Chiropractic training at Macquarie University, in Sydney in 2003 then went on to work in various clinics in Adelaide and Sydney before deciding to return to Canterbury to become a Chiropractic business owner. Over the course of 20+ years, she has taken time to learn more about Health Coaching, Nutrition and Occupational Health.
"I agree with Karyn Brent as we both believe “Why do we wait until we are broken” before we seek help. There are many options to look after our health and Chiropractic is an effective modality to help us keep healthy and move with ease.
My approach to Chiropractic is to consider the whole person, not just the “pain”. Sometimes we all need a nudge to do the simple things to help keep ourselves healthy and to be pro-active about our health decisions so we can do the things we love doing.
For me, it is a privilege to apply my Chiropractic knowledge and experience to help people towards better health and pleasure to create optimal health for people so they can live their life to the fullest."
